Beck Center Creative Arts Therapies presents Dance for Individual with Parkinson's

CAT_Moving_Freely_LogoAdults with Parkinson's disease are invited to find freedom through movement with another adult dance partner - spouses, adult children, friends or neighbors. Participants are guided by dance instructors Jessica Hodges and Shannon Sefcik, both trained by the Mark Morris Dance Group in the Dance for PD® method.

Dance creates opportunities for self-expression, building flexibility and body awareness, fostering confidence, and stimulating the brain and senses in a way that engages the whole person. Six week sessions take place from 1:30-3:00 p.m. on Fridays:

  • Session I / Oct 17 - Nov Nov 21
  • Session II / Dec 5 - Jan 23

Cost is $72 per couple for six week session or $15 per couple for a single class. Click here to register.
