Memories Evoked Exhibition
February 24 - March 12 | Jean Bulicek Galleria | Free and Open to the Public
For two decades Gail Crum, Gayle Pritchard, and Jill Gray Milenski have supported each other in their similar aesthetics and growth as artists. Although these three women work in varied styles and techniques, they share a passion for found objects, ephemera, and ‘memories evoked’. In this exhibit Gail, Gayle, and Jill are exploring the idea of shared memories through paintings, assemblage, and mixed media work. Together they come full circle to many of the ideas they began to develop together many years ago.
“As one of many points in a series of regional gallery celebrations to feature women artists during Women’s History Month, Beck Center is happy to host this wonderful group of artists who bring a definite, proudly feminine perspective to their collaborative exhibition. Viewers may simultaneously enjoy the artwork and feel the welcoming presence of these artists at the same time. ” - Darrelle Anne Centuori, Associate Director of Visual Arts Education.
