Join us for the original "Hey-lets-us-kids-put-on-a-show" musical! The 1937 score features more hits than any other Rodgers & Hart musical, such as "Where or When, " "The Lady is a Tramp" and "My Funny Valentine." It's a spirited romp - but even more, the musical's teenage characters are marching their way to adulthood. As Lorenz Hart puts it "Play day is done, we've a place in the sun we must fight for. So babes in arms, to arms!"

An "in concert" performance simply tells the story, focusing on this important American musical through all the spoken dialogue and songs. Join us for a special post-show discussion with the performers, Terri Kent and Bill Rudman, Artistic Director for The Musical Theater Project.

Co-produced by The Musical Theater Project, Beck Center for the Arts and Kent State University.
