Ohio Chautauqua: The Civil War

June 22, 2011 10:00AM  to  June 26, 2011 10:00AM

This five-day event combines living history, music, education, theater and audience interaction in an exciting community cultural event for all ages. This year’s theme for the Ohio Chautauqua is the Civil War. Each night under the big tent in Lakewood Park, a music presentation will set the stage for a living history performance of a pivotal figure from the Civil War.

Children's programs will be held at the Beck Center each day at 10am. Adult programs at the Lakewood Public Library dig deeper into an aspect of the Civil War. Each evening closes with live music and performances at Lakewood Park. Don’t miss this unique Northeast Ohio event. For more information and a complete schedule of events, visit
