Ki Allen Quartet Red Stage Summer Series Beck Center
Ki Allen Quartet
Wednesday, July 27 | 6 – 8 p.m. | Jazz

Cleveland native, Ki Allen is the singer of choice for groups of various sizes, applying her flexible, elegant approach to styles spanning big-band, vocalize, and rhythm ‘n’ blues. Ki Allen is an accomplished extraordinary vocalist who enjoyed fruitful associations with the late-lamented luminaries Neal Creque, Ace Carter, and Skeets Ross and now works with Bob Fraser, Peter Dominguez, Jackie Warren, Ron Godale, David Thomas, and Drene Ivy, amongst others. (Rain Location: Studio Theater)

Uno Lady Mike Uva Red Stage Summer Music Series Beck Center
Uno Lady | Mike Uva
Wednesday, August 10 | 6 – 8 p.m.

One-woman choir, Christa “Uno Lady” Ebert relies only on her voice for musical accompaniment. With a microphone, small mixer, and loop pedal perched upon a D.I.Y. lit podium, layers of vocals entrance, explore, and invoke emotions. Haunting, serene, and always calculatingly beautiful, Uno Lady creates spell like loops, spinning you into her musical web.

Mike Uva makes smart, understated pop in offhandedly catchy melodies. His songs stick around like old friends, their warmth, accessibility and unshowy intelligence always welcome, never overbearing.  (Rain Location: Main Gallery)

Boy Equal Girls Red Stage Summer Music Series Beck Center
Wednesday, August 24 | 6 – 8 p.m. | Americana Roots Rock

Boy=Girl is an acoustic, Americana power duo! They may play sparse & intimate. They may rock it out. Either way you get penetrating harmonies and captivating playing on guitar, banjo & bass. A mix of traditional and contemporary music, with an emphasis on original compositions. (Rain Location: Main Gallery)

Ahi-Nama Red Stage Summer Music Series Beck Center
Wednesday, September 7 | 6 – 8 p.m. | Salsa
