Super Saturdays @ Beck Center

Jump-start your family's weekend creatively at Super Saturdays @ Beck Center. Each month Beck Center offers a FREE hands-on arts experience for children ages 10 and under. Super Saturdays take place in the Beck Center lobby from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. on the dates listed below and will include special activities in collaboration with our community partners.

Parade the Circle Workshops

Join the Beck Center as we proudly "Parade the Circle" on Saturday, June 9, 2012.

The Beck Center is offering a series of workshops for families and friends of the Beck community who would like to participate in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s 2012 parade extravaganza. The workshops will focus on creating fanciful head and body sculptures using recycled materials.

Please join our Visual Arts Staff in creating these unique works of art and sharing them with the community through Parade the Circle and the Lakewood 4^th of July Parade.

Workshop Schedule  - Sundays, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Note: These are ongoing weekly work sessions
January: 29
February: 5, 12, 19, 26
March: 4, 11, 18, 25
April: 15, 22, 29
May: 6, 20, 27
Parade Organization Day: June 3, 2012, 3:30-5:30p.m.

Cost is $26 per person ($6 for Parade Registration)
Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult

Bike for Beck

Bike Your Art Out on Saturday, May 19, 2012

Join us as we welcome the return of spring with the 1st Annual Bike for Beck tour!
Riders can choose from different route lengths - a 1/2-mile parade, 12-mile, 25-mile or 60-mile tours which begin at the Beck Center and continue through the Rocky River Metroparks.

Bike participants, their families, and the community are invited to Bike for Beck Fest immediately following the Parade! Enjoy an afternoon of live music on the Red Stage, art exhibits, food trucks, bike safety & maintenance demonstrations, vintage bike exhibit, and more!
