Fund Development

Purpose:         

Provide support to Beck Center for the Arts, and to strengthen the philanthropic stature of Beck, by continuously offering involvement and expertise for ways to identify, build and cultivate new contributed revenue sources.

 Goals:

1.      Provide advocacy for Beck Center, by deepening the understanding of Beck Center’s programs and philanthropic donor engagement, among committee members and the entire Beck community. 

2.      Identify ways to improve Beck Center’s cultivation, solicitation and stewardship programs, through development strategies, which secure new donor relationships, while growing existing donor base.

3.      Explore the role technology plays in fundraising and determine appropriate steps to further integrate social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, Linked-In, Instagram, mobile and online giving.

4.      Provide leadership on events, donor participation and community programs, including foundation support, appeal programs, future capital and planned giving.

Spotlight, Beck Center’s annual benefit

The Spotlight Committee meets once a month and comes together to create an evening full of fun and friendship, all while raising funds to support the arts in our community.  The committee helps with auction items, set up, decorations and overall theme. We would love for you to join us on the committee and become an advocate for Beck Center!
