The Women’s Board meets the third Tuesday of the month, September through May, at 12:00 noon. The meetings are held at the Beck Center for the Arts located at 17801 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.
The Beck Center Women’s Board was founded in 1936 under the umbrella of the Lakewood Little Theatre. From its inception, the Women’s Board has worked diligently to continue that tradition of supporting and serving the theater community at the Beck Center for the Arts. Through the years the Women’s Board has raised and contributed over $260,000, and provided thousands of volunteer hours to support performances, programs, and day-to-day operations at Beck Center.
Spring Fundraiser (activity varies from year-to-year: Tea Party, Book Review, Musical, Speaker)
Women’s Board Boutique (located in Daniel’s Lounge)
And other opportunities as they occur, in an effort to serve and support Beck Center.
